Waqti Terms of Service

Last updated: September 20, 2026

Using Waqti

Waqti is a prayer-time, Qibla, and prayer-planning companion provided by Al Hidayah Apps (a sole proprietorship based in New York). By using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Not a religious authority

Waqti is a convenience tool, not a source of religious rulings. Prayer times are computed with well-established astronomical methods, but calculation conventions differ between authorities. The Qibla depends on your device’s compass and location and can be affected by magnetic interference and calibration. Where certainty matters, confirm timings and direction with your local masjid or a qualified scholar.

Waqti Pro purchase

Waqti Pro is a non-consumable one time purchase that unlocks additional planning features. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. There is no subscription or automatic renewal. Restore Purchases retrieves access using the Apple Account that purchased Pro.

Billing and refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and governed by Apple’s terms. Apple, not Al Hidayah Apps, handles billing and refunds; we cannot issue refunds directly. Refund requests go to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.

Pricing

The localized purchase price is shown before purchase. Future price changes apply to new purchases; existing purchasers are not charged again for the same unlock.

Acceptable use

Please use Waqti only for its intended personal, non-commercial purpose. Do not attempt to reverse engineer, tamper with, or misuse the app except as permitted by law.

Intellectual property

The Waqti app, its name, design, and content are owned by Al Hidayah Apps and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding.

Disclaimer of warranties

Waqti is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or religious correctness. You use the app at your own discretion and responsibility.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Al Hidayah Apps will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the app in the prior twelve months or fifty US dollars.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in New York.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version, and your continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
